About Active AgeingCategories Health, Exercise & fitness
Service Notes Active Ageing aims to encourage as many of our North Lincolnshire residents aged 50+ to discover new opportunities to increase their level of activity as possible. Research shows that exercise helps to maintain bone density, can play a part in reducing high blood pressure and can ultimately lead to healthier and happier communities. Our Active Ageing programme offers a range of services to help improve active recreation opportunities in local areas around North Lincolnshire. We run a number of community-based activities ranging from Chair Based Exercise and Active Circuits through to Nordic Walking and our ever popular Walk Football and Walking Netball. Visit our website for the full timetable of current activities and where they take place. Alternatively, if you think your community could benefit from an activity or if you want to develop an existing session then Active Ageing can help. Please give us a call in order to discuss your ideas further.
