Other Information At Bonby preschool we aim to give every child the best possible start, ensuring their wellbeing and welfare are at the top of our priorities. We offer funded 15 or 30 hour places for eligible two, three and four year olds term time only 9am - 3pm. Our SENCO has attended the 4 part SENCO training, and ensures that all updates and networks are attended and brought back to the staff to ensure continuity throughout the team. We adhere to our policies and procedures which are updated annually or when needed if any new legislation or updates occur. We also have a named behaviour co-ordinator who keeps up to date with any training, policies and articles which may assist any child or parent within our care. We are continually striving to develop our partnerships with parents and other professionals. Understanding that parents are the child’s main carer, they are involved in all aspects of the child’s planning, and any strategies, initial identifications and outcome plans which may be implemented. Parents also have easy access to an app we use in setting to view photos of their children, observations and termly summaries therefore, they can continuously keep up to date with their development and share any interests from their time at home. Our building is fully accessible for all with a ramp into the building and into the outside area, we also have a large disabled toilet as well as single level flooring to ensure ease of moment both around the setting and into the outdoor area. All practitioners are paediatric first aid trained. We have completed our Curiosity Approach accreditation and implemented this into our setting, we have also gained the Millie’s Mark paediatric first aid accreditation. We offer 30 hours funding over Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). We are very flexible with our times of sessions and try to accommodate all parents needs. We offer flexibility for parents that work shifts, however this is only on a can do basis and is not guaranteed.

With a breakfast club open the mornings that parents need, from 8am -9am for ages 2 – 8 years. Our SENCO has attended the 4 part SENCO training, and ensures that all updates and networks are attended and brought back to the staff to ensure continuity throughout the team. We adhere to our policies and procedures which are updated annually or when needed if any new legislation or updates occur. We also have a named behaviour co-ordinator who keeps up to date with any training, policies and articles which may assist any child or parent within our care.
