Other Information Our vision is to provide satisfaction and contentment to enable parents and carers to fulfil their needs with confidence that their child is in a happy and safe environment. Our nursery and childcare facility will provide your growing child with a high quality care and educational programme that is individual to your child’s needs. Our mission is to provide a safe and stimulating environment that will enable children to reach their full potential. Our nursery provide services tailored for babies and children to ensure the transition throughout their developing years will encourage their social, emotional, physical, and creative abilities that will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the changing world around them in order to prepare for the introduction into formal education. Our setting is open from 7.30am– 6.00pm Monday to Friday and is closed on Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year's Day, we provide care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and offer a wraparound and Holiday Club service for local schools including Crowle Primary Academy and Belton School. We offer sessions throughout our opening hours, please contact us to enquire about availability and the sessions you require. Building Premises • We have a ramp for disabled access to building. • We change our room environments to suit the needs of the children attending our setting.• Most rooms are on the ground floor, staff will support families to access our upstairs rooms if required. Provision Policies and Practice • We have a SEND policy • Equality and Inclusion policy• We do not discriminate any families, we ensure that our nursery is accessible and we seek appropriate training to ensure our staff can meet the needs of all families accessing our services, examples of previous training include delivery of Insulin and Physio training to support physical development.• We have experienced staff who are competent in assessing children’s development and ensure that children with emerging difficulties are identified and supported using the graduated response.• Our staff are experienced in working with professionals to support children to reach their full potentials whilst in our care, teams we have worked with include, Speech therapists, EPU, Early Years Inclusion Team, Visual Impairment Team, Occupational Health, Physiotherapists, School Teachers, Diabetes Nurse.• Our staff are experienced in supporting children with additional needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Speech Impairment, Behavioural issues, Physical Difficulties, Food allergies mild to severe, Febrile Convulsions, Downs Syndrome, Asthma, Glue Ear, Visual Impairment, Allergies, Eczema, Special Dietary Needs, Prader Willi Syndrome, Apert Syndrome, Deletion Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Moebuis Syndrome.• Our setting SENCO is Laura Busby who is a Level 3 Nursery Nurse with 5 years’ experience and regularly attends SEND termly training to keep up to date with local SEND information. Laura is supported in this role by senior staff.• We provide care for children who are entitled to Short Breaks Respite.• We also provide emergency care for children and one off sessions.• We work closely with schools to ensure that children have a smooth transitions from our care to the care of school, we invite the class teachers in to nursery to share information regarding appropriate care and development levels and the child’s specific needs, we also arrange stay and play sessions, where the teacher visits our setting and we take the child to visit their new school and attend play sessions, we will arrange more sessions if we feel this will benefit the child.• If your child has a specific medical need and attend our Out of School Club they will be collected from and dropped off at school by staff that have been trained to care for your child.
