Other Information Barton Children's Centre is located behind Castledyke Primary School, Council Terrace. The nearest car park is approximately two minutes walk away. The core purpose of a Children’s Centre is to help families with: • Child development and school readiness • Parenting aspirations and parenting skills • Child and family health and life chances . Activities are inclusive to all children and young people, including those who have a disability or additional needs. All activities are free, unless otherwise stated. Our Children's Centre also has an on-site Nursery.
