Happy Stars is committed to providing equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice for all children, families, employees and visitors. Everyone will be made to feel welcome and will be provided with the same opportunities.
There is wheelchair access throughout the nursery and the children’s rooms are large and spacious. We provide a learning environment in which all children have equal access to equipment, resources and experiences to further their individual learning and development needs.
All children have a key person who works with their key child’s family to observe, assess and plan for children’s individual development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We help children by being alert to early signs of potential difficulties and providing support and using strategies to overcome barriers which may be causing difficulties for children’s development and learning.
We work closely with other professionals to ensure we are able to provide effectively for our children and their families.
Clare Anderson isour named SENCO, and is a level 6 qualified experienced Early Years Practitioner.
