Other Information We aim to offer a excellent ofsted rated childcare service which provides care and education from 4 months to 5 years. The setting will work towards the EYFS document, and provide learning journeys for all children. These journeys will focus on the child's individual learning and interest. Fun based learning activities are set up daily, these activities are both child and adult led. We provide the stepping stones for children to become independent young learners.

The Ark Day nursery is a family run business. The building is purpose built; it has a parent/staff car park and is on an allocated street for bus users. The setting is warm and welcoming and is accessible to people with disabilities. We have a disabled toilet on entrance to our building. The main room is open plan with lots of space. The main room has double doors in each section, which open out on to an outdoor area, offering a range of toys and learning aids to suit all ages and abilities. The outdoor area is safe, secure and not in eye sight of the public. Our policies are reviewed each month which include health and safety, equality and diversity and safeguarding. These are available for all parents on arrival and are situated in the foyer. All parents' comments are viewed at our staff meetings. We have two named SENCO'S who attend local training regularly. Our provision has 7 members of staff who are qualified at Level 3 , 2 of these working towards level 5 ,and 3 who are qualified at Level 6. Our transition between Schools (Bushfield/Frodingham) works really well as does transitions from room to room. Once each child is settled they are added to our Tapestry Learning Journey, this enables parents to access their progression online and have an input. We have morning and afternoon funded sessions available, which are; 9-12 and 12:30-3:30 and full days if you require. We also have day care places available from 7.30-5.30. We offer before and after school care with our Out Of School Club, which we pick up from Bushfield, Brumby Juniors and Frodingham Infants.
