Little Goslings Day Nursery is an inclusive provision where children reaching their full potential is at the heart we do. For this to be achieved we: Work alongside parents/carers and families recognizing them as the child's first educator and ensuring they are informed and involved through out all processes. Have two SENCO's who work between the three groups in the nursery ensuring the early identification of children's needs and that all children are supported in carrying out activities/experiences which help to meet their potential in all areas of their learning and development. Have strong partnerships with a number of agencies including Speech and Language, Education Preparation Unit, Occupational Therapists and Health Visitors. Follow a wide range of policies and procedures to ensure we are consistent with our practice including equality of opportunity policy, SEND policy and safer recruitment. Attend regular training, including training which may be based upon a child's individual needs. I.e in house eppi - pen training. Adhere to the SEND Code of practice 2015
